Podcasts can be audio only, video only, or both!

Audio podcasts (in our opinion) need to be thoroughly edited to eliminate dead space, ums, ahs, etc. At SoloPro....we absolutely insist on it!

Video podcasts (in our opinion) can be more lightly edited. Dead spaces still need to be eliminated but more ums and ahs can be tolerated on video.

BUT, at SoloPro, we have developed a way to edit video podcasts as thoroughly as audio podcasts for a consistent highly professional production.

Podcasts can vary in length. We strongly encourage episodes to be 20 minutes or less, but recognize some podcasters like longer episodes.

The longer the episode, the more time we spend on it. So average episode length plays into the final cost.

Solo episodes are much easier and quicker to edit than interview episodes.

Each additional co-host or guest exponetially increases the time and difficulty to edit.

Your release schedule is also a factor.

Our monthly plans include 4 weekly episodes.

Releasing two or more episodes a week naturally raises production costs.

We also offer a "series" model. You record a series of podcasts and drop all those episodes at once when they are ready allowing those who wish to binge them to do so. Then we work on the next series. If you opt for this model, you will be quoted a price per series based on the expected number of episodes in the series.
